teeth

This week's Illustration Friday prompt is "teeth".  Who comes up with these things??

Anyway, I drew lots of teeth while I, for some reason, listened to/ watched a documentary about all the drugs Hitler was on during the years he was in power.  If my drawing has a rather cold, heartless tone, I blame Adolph.

It's a holiday weekend here in the U.S. of A.  We don't have any special plans.  Actually, I was thinking of running the Hu Hot Half on the Fourth, which is kinda fun to say.  But, alas, I went to look into getting registered a couple of days ago and found that it's not happening this year.

Apparently, the event has changed organizing hands, and the new planners didn't feel they had enough time to put it together.  But they promise it will be back, and new and improved for next year.

So, that's that.  I was preparing myself mentally to deal with the heat, and now I guess I can just be a slug.  Well, hopefully we'll come up with something more fun than that.

I'm glad to report that the front lawn washer disappeared shortly after I vented about it on the blog.  the haulin' guys I called arrived towing a big old trailer.  They took the washer, that old trampoline I disassembled last year, some old computer carcasses, and (thank the lord) that big ugly TV that weighs a ton.

The gears in my own head are turning now to gather another pile for those wonderful people.

Happy Independence Day!

You got rid of the TV!! Congratulations!
Sorry the Hu Hot Half was a no go this year. Such a great name for a race, that they gotta bring it back next year!
Hopefully the Fourth won't be sluggish for you. Unless you want it to be, of course. I'll be hosting a hotel full of guests, so I'll celebrate on the 6th with a 3-day "weekend".
Great pic, by the way. You're so talented!

Nice answer for "teeth". Too bad about your race, but so glad you got rid of the washer. I hope you find a great way to celebrate the 4th!

Getting rid of that TV was the best part!
I have faith in the new group's ability to pull off a nice Hu Hot half next year. As for me, I'll cross that bridge if I get there...

I think it will be a good 4th regardless of activity or lack thereof. For one thing, there are no superfluous appliances laying around!

I read "TEETH" over at my place and nearly did not come here. Tomorrow is my oral surgeon visit. Glad it wasn't actual TEETH. I watched the same documentary on everything Hitler was on. I've always thought that- as someone who wanted a perfect race, he should have thrown himself into a train car.

I purposely avoided drawing human/animal TEETH.
That documentary was kinda creepy, but not really surprising.

A real toothy picture...

Sorry to hear about the Hu Hot Half. I finally got off my butt and back out on the trails to run a 5k on the 4th. Not much of a challenge if you don't mind running when it is 85° and 90% humidity (at 0700).

Ugh, too hot and humid for me. You Texans are tough. A 5k on the fourth sounds fun, but isn't as fun to say as Hu Hot Half on the Fourth.
