wheeee!

WooHoo, spring break!!  Par-TEEEEE!

Okay, the truth?  I never really partied much for spring break when I was a young college girl, let alone now as an old college girl.   The image above was one of the *ahem* tamer ones I found.  It's more "me"... metal stamping on wood...

Anyway, we've got a week-long break, and the weather is appropriately beautiful.  We've no big plans, but are open to suggestions.  Chaco and Wolfgang appeared at the door last night.  They'd decided to go eat somewhere, and everywhere they went was busy, so they ended up at our house.

"We're here! Feed us!"

Then I lost at poker.  Again.

A few days ago, I was waiting at a stop light and a pedestrian crossed the street in front of me.  He was wearing a license plate on his back.  It was a regulation, DOR given, Colorado license plate.  It was in a clear, license-plate-sized pouch thing, like it was made for wearing on his back.

I googled and found that, sometimes, bikers (the motorcycle kind) wear such things, but the guy I saw?  I don't think he had a motorcycle  parked anywhere.  He looked pure pedestrian except for the license plate.

I'm sure there's a story there.  I don't know what it is.  What is it??

...so I can learn something over break

.

I never was a spring breaker, but I certainly enjoyed my time off. A good meal and a poker game sounds perfect!
Can't say I've ever seen a biker wearing his (or her...) license plate. I guess it makes sense? Hopefully you'll learn why the pedestrian was wearing one. Gotta keep those brain cells sharp.

It's still got me wondering. Maybe I'll see him plodding along again, and I'll just ask him.

Yay! Spring break! If I were in your shoes, I would read a book for the fun of it, binge watch a t.v. series on Netflix, spring clean something - or the whole house for that matter. Yeah, I never claimed to be a very exciting person! Those are my suggestions.

I've never seen a pedestrian wearing a license plate. I would just chalk it up to the fact that people can be strange.

Thanks for the suggestions! Sounds like a break to me :).
True, people can be strange. I'm thinking it might be a self-imposed or wife-imposed penance.
