For this week's Illustration Friday topic "Freeze", I'm being majorly lazy by just pulling something out of the archives. I did this drawing of an Inuit woman about two years ago.
Back-to-School time is a busy time for us tutor types. Lots of seniors wanting to get their college entrance exams out of the way, hopefully with decent scores. On the home front, Back-to-School time means that we scramble to fit in last minute summer adventures. The combination has left me with very little time to play artsy person.
So. To the archives.
And speaking of old stuff... Magnum married his wife 22 years ago today! Whoop! Yikes, I wonder what the old lady's like now??
Oh wait...

Congratulations on 22! I think tradition has it as the "Copper Anniversary". I was considering sending up congrats since we now share a common date. I hope my kids have as lengthy and prosperous journey as you two love birds have had. Happy 22!!!
Very nice work!
I remember you telling Agg you shared his son's wedding day, so you were both in my thoughts today! Congratulations! You have us beat by about 6 months. What's the secret??
Thank you! The more 8/11 marriages the merrier! Yes, I saw it was the copper anniversary! So... what to get? Batteries? (get your mind out of the gutter!)
Thanks Ellen!
Thanks! The secret? Hmmm. Don't get divorced!
Congratulations!
I know what you mean about the back-to-school furor. I go back tomorrow, and instead of preparing for school I've been working on a big art project (still not finished). I did almost nothing all summer (except go on trips and help my mom move), but I've missed making art.
I like this drawing. I'd like to BE there....
Woohoo! Happy belated anniversary!!! Awesome picture, I remain jealous of your ability ;)
Happy Anniversary! You've managed to put up with each other for a good long time! ;-)
22 that's pretty good! I hit 26 this September! It's more like a life sentence. :D
We all have to hit the archives - of some sort - every now and then. I think I remember her from a couple years back. She actually looks very cozily warm in her parka in her frozen surroundings.
Nice photo of you two! Got your heads in the same position, same amount of smile, sun shades... they say that happens eventually - that you begin to act and look alike. :)
