perennial

Greetings, hot enough for ya!?  This week's  Illustration Friday prompt is "perennial", and rather than flowers, I'm thinking of the return to fall.

Fall is my favorite season.  Spring is nature's innocence, summer it's passion, winter is dormancy.
Fall is the bedtime story.

Plus, I figured this would make better use of my day-at-the-DMV pens...

I really love fall too. It's such a beautiful season. But I'm really loving the summer right now, so fall can hold off just a while longer in my opinion.

Your little cabin looks like the perfect fall escape!

I'm a spring person. There can't be enough flowers and hope in the world. I just read through your DMV posts and am still laughing. Love the tat!

I love everything about fall, too! Except the loss of sun light daily!!! Beautiful illustration!

This reminds me of the old wood framed houses I pass by while traveling in the mid-Atlantic east coast.

Dry texture of barnboard comes through nicely with your pen work. Subdued colours, really works.

I wish I could jump into that picture--fall has always been my favorite season too!

What a LOVELY drawing! Fall is my favorite time of year. It speaks of possibility--the start of an exciting new school year, crisp days and cool nights, walks in the woods, and making art. Actually I love all the seasons, except that I can't take this heat....

Nice change of pace from the other houses you have penned. Hot enough? I'll trade you our 100 degreee, no rain for 8 months, 90% humidity.
