Hello and happy Illustration Friday Saturday! This week's prompt is a thought-provoking "surrender"
I thought of those babies. You see them sometimes - in shopping carts, in high chairs, etc.. Their bodies SO want to fall asleep, but they fight it, usually in futility. I want to tell them, "Don't fight it, little dude. Just surrender"
.

Oh, yes. I've seen these little guys. Great interpretation of the theme. Lovely drawing.
I'm at that age where I surrender to naps all the time. I've seen babies in back pack carriers sound asleep and oblivious to the world. My son used to fall asleep in his Johnny Jump Up all the time.
this is super.
Beautiful picture--beautiful idea!
I don't know how my sleeping was as a baby. I do recall, however, pleading with my mom, as a child, to let me stay up later!
Funny how children fight to stay awake--while adults fight to stay asleep!
Totally sweet and true.
Lovely illustration.

Absolutely delightful drawing. Beautiful--so the essence of a sleeping baby that's finally given in. One of my children would fight and fight--and succeed for hours in staying awake.
Brilliantly captured and perfect for the theme.
Beautiful drawing and lovely sentiment! We adults do it, too! :)
Oh, and they're SO cute when they do that!
A lovely interpretation of this weeks theme!
Ohhh, it's my son, or I am, if he didn't give up. :-P
Awesome.
Heisann! You are right, we observe the babies sleeping while their parents busy running to and fro.
And they seem totally relaxed ;:OD)
Nicely drawn!
