I came to get my homework goodies, that sit dangerously close to the desktop, totally intending to do homework.
Then I started reading some blogs, and next thing I know, I'm blogging my silverliningness. And here sit the homework goodies even. Unoped.
Ah, I'll get to it.
This was another nice week. Apparently, Thursday was National Sibling's Day. There's a National Sibling's day?? Well, I heard about it on facebook, so it must be a real thing. I'm thankful for my bros. It's weird to think of growing up without them. On a related note, oldest big brother Hagrid had a birthday this week, so he's even an older older brother.
And it seems that I am now fully embalmed into my local P.E.O. chapter. I keep getting e-mails from them anyways, so I guess I am somebody.
Despite my lack of homework enthusiasm, I seem to be making progress at school. With the springtime temperatures (except for today!) making more of a showing, I'm looking forward to having another semester finished, and hopefully, I'll finish with style.
Speaking of nicer temperatures, remember "fat and scared" bicycle commuter? He's out there! He's made the jump! I spotted him last week on the bike path. Couldn't miss his loud shirt.
Yesterday's 5K was fun. This guy was there, and I realized later that I did not know who/what he was.
He's the mascot from the steakhouse, and when I thought about it, I realized he is NOT a cow. First of all, cows are girls... well, except for steers... ANYWAY, it bothered me so much, I googled. He's an armadillo. Whew, now I can sleep.

Blogging is WAY more fun than doing homework. Heck, anything is WAY more fun according to Amp.
Congrats to Fat and Scared for taking the plunge! Hopefully your snow will disappear soon and not scare him away....
Now get to your homework and have a great week!
As long as he's not on the menu, he's cute.
Homework is good for us, it makes us better people (in case Amp is watching...)
I thought so too, hence the internet stalking.
How does an armadillo become the mascot of a steakhouse? Is it a hint that some of the steaks are not beef? What is that crusty bit around the edge????
Where did National Siblings' Day come from? I sure hope Hallmark is making cards, because I have $4.99 burning a hole in my pocket. (And when did cards get so expensive, anyway?) I know I missed it, but I'm REALLY hoping Hallmark also makes a "Happy Belated Siblings Day" card...
You see why I had to investigate further?!
National Siblings' Day came from National Parents' Day?? Maybeeee???
Oh yeah... I see those armadillo arms.
Nice that the apprehensive guy is out on the path. Show him love when you see him. Flash your smile (similar, but not quite like the pic above where your eyes are shut). He'll be encouraged to keep at it. :)
I have that same habit of avoiding something I should be doing in favor of blogging. Except for me, it's the housework that gets put off. Life is short. Blog more.
Isn't it funny how many "official" events turn up on facebook, and like a bunch of lemmings, we all jump in and play along? Oh well, it's fun!
