for Rock Chef, who asked...

"Is there such a device? "

Oh, YOU  BETCHA!

I like the one the little kid is wielding, myself. It's simple and efficient.  The snow doesn't need to be a perfect sphere to get the desired result.

Except that child should still be wearing gloves/mittens.  Where was this shot?  At some fake-snow studio in California??

Oh PLEASE let these be the next promo trash!

  1. I'VE NEVER HAD A DOG WITH LONG ENOUGH LEGS TO APPRECIATE HOW FAR YOU CAN THROW A BALL WITH THOSE.....SORRY FOR THE CAPS. MY KEY IS STUCK.

  2. They are on clearance at Target. Hmmm... thought I could live without one, but now I'm not so sure!

  3. It reminds me of those tennis ball throwers that I see people use in the dog park. You can get some real distance with one of those suckers. I never considered it as a weapon of snow destruction before. Sadly, I don't think it will work very well down here -we lack the right ammo. It's all about location, location, location.

    1. YES, same idea. Those things can really put some speed on a tennis ball. The thing I like about them is that they pick the slobber-laden ball up too!

  4. I'd have been afraid to get those for my boys. Looks like they could do some damage in a snowball fight. Especially to a little sister....
And where ARE that kid's gloves?

    1. Yes, on second thought, maybe they are only safe in frozen little kid hands.

  5. OMG this is bringing back HORRIBLE (I *am* shouting at you) memories of 7th grade. I was trudging home from school. It had snowed recently. 7th grade wasn't exactly the pinnacle of popularity for me. (Context.) Some Mean Girls began pelting me with snowballs. It was awful. Thank God they didn't have one of these freaking toys.

    1. Snow is supposed to be fun. That's a sad story. I hope those Mean Girls got a taste of some SERIOUS KARMA *shouting*

    1. Hey, you could help Mr. Neighbor with a Dustpan clean off his car with one!

  7. What!
That's hard to top. But I'm sure you will.
    Good question, Rock Chef.
