Reading: I just got back from the library.  I didn't have anything particularly particular in mind, figured I'd just browse and bring home something life changing.  Then Chaco "volunteered" to come with me, and he honed in on his items then hovered like a vulture.  Eventually, I got a fiction and a non-fiction.  If neither are life changing, I'm blaming him.

Exercising:  Today's WOD:  scrub the shower like I mean it

Thinking about: Dinner.  It was suggested that we order pizza.  That seems really appealing.  Not so much the pizza, but the idea of me not cooking anything.

Watching: I'm not really a fan of TV, and Magnum and I watched a bad movie last weekend.  I don't even remember the title.  I did indulge in some Judge Judy while folding laundry.

Wondering:   Why do I like Court TV?

Feeling thankful:  It's been nice and cool around here.  It seems like our weather is the opposite of the rest of the country.  When everyone was flooding, we were hot, dry, and on fire.

Now, the heat wave is in the news, and we're in the 70s.  SEVENties!!

Working on:  Bowling.  Went bowling twice this week.  I'm... not as bad as I was last week.

Loving:  Crystal.  According to my pizza tracker, Crystal is creating our order to perfection.  Perfection!  I love you, Crystal.  You totally go.

"Currently". A simple list of things you're currently feeling as seen at Sometimes Sweet.

I'm telling myself I'm going to miss that hovering vulture thing by my 18 year old son when he goes away to college. REALLY, I am.

I've never broken 100 at bowling. How sad is that?

I'm wondering why you like court TV too. :) The drama is too much for me, and after the Trayvon case, I've had my fill for a while. Their situations make me realize how good I have it, however!
I've made a few hurried decisions because of hovering teenagers myself. If your books turn out to be life changing, please share the titles. I love a great book!

Oooh, I like this idea. I might steal it for those (too many) times lately when I don't have time to think through a single-topic blog post.

I need a good book. I just finished Ender's Game, which was pretty good and I'm not sure what to read next. Be sure to let us know if your latest reads are worth recommending.

As for movies, my latest was The Hunger Games. I'm labeling it good because for most of the movie, I was SO ticked off at the whole idea and then found myself cheering for the underdogs.

Well, I do miss the hovering vulture when he's away.

I think I just like the logic involved and learning how different laws apply in solving court cases. But yeah, there are some real Losers on those shows, makes you go "WHEW!" And after this past week... blecch. Too much.

I'm actually in the middle of Ender's Game and liking it so far. I can't be reading just one book, though. I read Hunger Games and the whole situation PISSED ME OFF! But at least I knew what to expect when I saw the movie.

Reading: a mystery novel - lite reading is the thing in summer

Exercising: Not much. I strained a tendon on the inside of my knee. Boohoo. No running or hiking for me for two weeks now. I'm getting old.

Watching: Masterpiece Mystery on PBS

Wondering: How my husband will fare in the 100 mile bike race he's doing tomorrow.

Feeling thankful: It has been a gorgeous summer so far this year. Not too hot, but sunny and pleasant.

Working on: getting stuff done!

Loving: Summer's fruit and veggies

Thanks for letting me play, too.

Nice way of keeping things current. I never have gotten used to having my Pizza tracked while it's being made (Oops, Bob just dropped your pizza). Court TV is amusing to watch. Sometimes it can be like watching Jerry Springer with a little Honey Boo-Boo thrown in.

Bowling. Hmmm... That's a fun and easy thing to do. Might put that on my summer list... Along with more take-out pizza. Then put more running on the list to battle the pizza.
