This week's
Illustration Friday prompt is "edge". As I thought about that, I realized that there are a lot of definitions for "edge". It can be the beginning of something, it can be the end of something. It can be a noun, it can be a verb.
It can be a positive thing, like a competetive edge. It can be a negative thing, like something that puts us on edge.
It can be something to go over...
So I painted a jumping horse. Of course.
.
I like this effect - where the horse is made prominent with color and the rider is minimized with black and white. No doubt who is the subject in this picture!
ReplyDeleteA jumping horse with prominant edges...
ReplyDeleteNicely done. I always enjoy reading about how you pick your topic, and can totally see how you would have come up with a jumping horse. Of course. :)
ReplyDeleteYou listen to your inner talent and then it flows. I like seeing your drawings and paintings.
ReplyDeleteWell now you've done it. What if next week's Illustration Friday prompt is "Jumping Blue Horse"? Could happen!
ReplyDeleteWell done! It definitely has an edge to is. But I have to admit, at first glance, I thought you meant Hedge....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful horse! So dynamic! I love the blues.
