You have a to-do list that, even if a mile long, manages to be completed? Your work is detailed, crisp, and organized? You're on time for appointments and appointments are on time for you?
Your interactions with others are jovial and sincere? The other people and things you regularly want or need access to are available and humming?
You have good hair?
Today wasn't one of those.
- Shoes then socks then feet got drenched.
- Laundry left on the clothesline became wetter than when it was hung.
- Printer cartridge dried up.
- Tutor student was late.
- Scissors. Where are the scissors?
- Package for UPS was forgotten.
- There's more laundry.
- There's not much food.
But the hair actually looks pretty good.

Gosh, I'm sorry! As I began to read, I was thinking, "Yes! Yes! I'm having one of those days." Actually, I've had several of them in a row. I'm sorry if I'm hogging up the good days. Hope a better one comes your way tomorrow.
Oh! I'm so sorry you didn't have a good day. Did you at least have somewhere to go or someone to share the good hair with?
(I'm trying to be sad that it's raining on you... I'm tryin'.... but the jealousy keeps getting in the way.)
OH, well if my less-than-good day means you get the good ones, then it's all good. Can I keep the hair?
Actually, I am happy about the rain, just not the borderline Trenchfoot. I shared the hair with the wal-martians. Couldn't let it go to waste.
That's an excellent post--the ironic twist is classic!
Excellent post--I love the ironic twist!
"You ever have one of those days where things just go according to plan? When you wake up feeling fresh and ready and productive? Your mental clarity is strong, your emotions high yet stable?"
Nope!
And since my hairdresser cut my hair far too short I'm not even having good hair days at the moment either.
Damn.
Boo, I hate those days. Glad your hair is good though, a kid once told me that "bad hair days are bad for the soul." LOL.
I've had whole weeks like that. At least you HAD a good hair day. I haven;t had one of those for a few years (follically challenged). Still, if you have a good hair day, doesn't that make up for the rest of the day?
