need reinforcements

Okay, so back when my friends with young daughters were having to go off to see Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus or whoever she is... Back when I teased about the High School Musical marathons and then even High School Musical on Ice....

Payback time today.

Today, I functioned as the requisite Parental Guidance for Meego at a showing of Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen.

Was it any good, you ask? Heck if I know.

I just know that I SO need a chick flick now! Maybe I can get some sort of quick fix over at YouTube!

I am not even telling my boys this movie is out. Don't want to even go there.

ALL boys want to see that movie, no matter how old. I actually watched part of the first one. It wasn't bad.

ooh, rent The Duchess. Really good chick flick with lush sets and costuming.

The closest thing I've come to a chick flick lately is Raging Bull.

One of the huge perks of being single again is that I was not dragged to this movie. Though that said, I have to admit that I did kind of enjoy the last one (I left my brain at home - that probably helped matters).
