Happy fall, we made it through another summer!
With that, I saw there is another question posted on the adjunct instructor room whiteboard at the college: "What is your favorite thing about autumn?"
The first thing my eyes noticed is that the "super pretzels with cheese シ" is still there from the earlier question... or a carry-over?
I'm enjoying the cooler temperatures and am still getting used to the dark mornings and earlier sunsets. Time to break out [the vest].
In other news, coworker Sarge's ducks? One of them has become a woman. Sarge's family isn't sure which one, but they've been getting one egg per day, started last Sunday. I imagine the other two ducks will get in sync and start earning their keep very soon. Exciting times.
This reminded me of many years ago, when I worked as a 2nd shift quality inspector. I had three female coworkers and one male. The man's name was Rod, poor guy.
We all worked very closely together, and when we weren't slaving away, we just shot the breeze, etc. as coworkers in a small lab will do. The result - all us "ladies" got in sync, yaknow whatIm sayin'? Yeah, we were all "laying eggs" together.
There's a LEGO Polaroid that I'd love to put together only the price for it is crazy high, to me. Great pictures! Love fall everything. My new fave is the marbled orb weaver. Never saw her before this autumn. She's sooooo pretty.

She is so pretty the marbled one. Got a shot of her yesterday that I'll share soon. Very cool looking. Very autumnal, she is.
DeleteRight? What's with that LEGO Polaroid? I mean, I'd love to do one but no, not at that price. Just a bridge too far. Have you seen the old-time LEGO typewriter. OMG. I love that thing and yet again, no on the price.

What a Cutie, and I have many a Polaroid too of those 'good ole' days' that weren't always so good really, like allowing people to Smoke in the workplace! I was never a Smoker either so resented that. One of my Dear Bosses, who was a wonderful Female Mentor I owed a lot to coz she taught me everything I knew about how to navigate The Good Ole' Boy Network and kick in the Glass Ceilings, was also a Chain Smoker. Another Boss smoked a Pipe, which, they don't smell as Bad. The worst were the Cigar Smokers, Gak, putrid smell.

Delete"laying egg" ha ha ha. You're so cute and all that hair. I'm jealous. I have fine hair, wanna trade? We are now in the 70s and 80s so gettin' there. I long for 65.

DeleteEveryone in Germany is a smoker so that's been the conversation lately. I recall when you'd go to a restaurant and they'd ask if you wanted smoking or non, like it even mattered. You were going to get it either way!
