It was another lovely week. I definitely notice and appreciate the warmer, brighter, longer days. Even had to wake up the lawn mower this week. I'm fighting the urge to play outside all day since I do have those pesky end-of-semester projects due.
Still, Magnum and I have managed to add to our geocache collection. Look at this cutie we found this morning, cleverly disguised as a birdhouse.
In fact, it's so cleverly disguised, I think it's pissed off a few birds.
Magnum finds the cute bird houses, I get the stick-your-face-in-a-soggy-gutter-on-a-drizzly-day ones...
(Found it!)
We attended Meego's spring concert this week. It went on WAAAAY too long. Every band and their grandma's band played something, but all of the students had to be there for the whole thing because they played a big group song at the end.
Meego was there for 3+ hours to play two songs. This is the new band teacher's first year, so maybe he'll get a memo about time management? Hopefully? But I do appreciate his passion for the cause. Here's a grainy random pic. Even the musicians look bored.

Oh boy I've also attended my daughter's concerts and they do go on way to long. Especially as my daughter always end up doing only one song, right at the beginning of the show and then I have to sit there for another 2 hours watching everyone else's kids crucifying classic songs.
First of all, what's the prize? Cuz I looked and looked and couldn't find him. But if the prize is real good, I'mma keep trying.
We went through one band director who talked so much between pieces that it would take hours for the concert to be over. Not how I wanted to spend my Sunday nights. The director they have now, manages the time so much better. In fact, I'm looking forward to the spring concert coming up.
Anyway, it seems like you're in a good place right now. School nearing the end, warm weather, longer days - and you're taking great advantage of it. Good for you!
It sure is difficult to stay inside and be responsible when the weather is so nice, isn't it?
I knew you'd dig into the geocaching thing. Looks like you're having fun, but make Magnum get in the mud next time!
Between muddy gutters and puked up gophers, your life sounds um, interesting? At least there's music? Or maybe I assume too much that the kids actually played something that day?
Wait. I get the feeling I'm missing something. You found a birdhouse in a gutter full of....icky stuff? You're pulling our legs? Is that a receipt? Come onnnnnn. You've been pedaling too fast for too long. But you're cute as a bug.
Time management at that sort of thing is often a nightmare. At my son's power lifting events, event though things are constantly moving it seems to go on for eternity.
Ummm...I think I missed something. Why was your face in the gutter?
So nice to know I don't suffer alone.
Yeah, the director talked too much. Maybe he'll learn.
And the prize? The prize. It's uhm... well... an autographed pic of bored musicians!
Mud and cigarette butts. Can't forget the cigarette butts.
Gopher guts, gutters, and music. Could be the title of my memoirs.
Uhm... I'll just answer "yes" to all of the above. It's easier!
I was sitting there wishing I'd brought my tablet so I could be reading your zombie book!
So my mind and face could be at one?
