Storm II

From the responses to my not-Halle-Berry illustration for Illustration Friday (including MAGNUM'S!), I decided to give Halle "Storm" Berry a whirl.

Lotsa tight fitting shiny leather.

It wasn't a bad experience.  In fact, I enjoyed drawing her more than I did Lance Armstrong.  She's a much better role model.  Probably avoids bleached flour too.

Now, excuse me while I go do some situps or something.

She really is beautiful. And she just gets more and more so as the years go by.
I can see how she was more fun to draw than Lance. But surely you gave her a flaw somewhere, right?

Way better than Lance. Nice leathers.

You did a good job with Lance, I just don't like him. Everybody's got to like Halle, right? And you did a good job with her. I'm not so sure about this whole sit up plan though. Sounds like something I'm supposed to do. (groan)

Not really a Halle fan, but that is a great pic!

She is a natural beauty, so will most likely age well. Flaw? I'm not that creative.

Thanks JPic!

Augh, the leather. I thought I would run out of pencil before I ran out of leather.

Ha, right. It's easier to create beauty with a pencil!

Thanks RC. Comic book Halle wasn't too intimidating.

I knew I'd like your HB; you even gave her Big Hair!
But I'd still choose the weathervane to hang on the wall...liked it.

That would be "Storm" hair.

I prefer her with short hair but that is a great drawing!

My first impression was that this was your blonde self-portrait. But now that you mention it, I do see Halle Berry!

O.K. I should do some situps. She is as perfect as your drawing! It pops into my eye at IF.
