Snow

This week's Illustration Friday prompt is "snow".  Typically, the word snow would conjure up thoughts and images of fun and playfulness and rosy cheeks...

But with yesterday's news still so raw, I was more in the mood for something quiet.  Stillness.

Stay safe, my friends.

Nice choice. I've been quiet and still myself after hearing the news.
Makes you think, doesn't it?

Like SR300 said, nicely said. Time for quiet reflection, prayers. Seem hard to post up anything funny right now. We all need to hold our children and loved ones a bit closer. Please stay safe.

I'm halfway around the globe...literally 12 time zones away...and awakened to snow here, too!

But went to sleep a mourner.

Beautiful job with that mug, wow! Wonderful light and shadows. I thought about some kind of tribute or, I don't know what. I think you've handled it in a very thoughtful way.

I love your illustration today. Perfect. We went for a hike up to a radio tower on Saturday. We were so happy to go from rain up into the winter wonderland forest where it was peaceful and beautiful - the perfect antidote.

This is a quiet and reflective kind of illustration... very appropriate for the news that came last Friday.
