Anyway, at this point, we should be deeply engrossed in giving Wolfgang a taste of college life
Oh WAIT! Not that taste of college life! I mean...
CU Enginerding Center |
I haven't really been back since graduating. How can it be that that was over 20 years ago? How can it be that I'm back there with my second oldest for a college look see??
Well... at least I think I am.
Go Buff! .... er... Buffs!

Ha! Love the first two photos - Animal House...:)
I'm staring at the campus in the photo and wondering at the architecture, which looks to me like a blend of ski resort chic and prison concrete.
In the words of Talking Heads.."And you may find yourself," taking your kids to your alma mater. "And you may ask yourself, how did I get here?" Time. That's how. I hear ya!
I rememember taking my eldest daughter for an interview at a school that I attended at her age. Friggin' scary!
That is a strange looking complex I have to say. :D
How exciting! and depressing. YOU know that I know how mystifying it is that our children are old enough to be going to college. Heck, we were there just a few years ago.
I'm impressed that he's looking already! We dragged our boys kicking and screaming just weeks before they had to register. :/
Weren't your boys just recently .... ummm .... LITTLE? How is it that you have one in college and one looking already? Well this is exciting news anyway. My kids weren't real big into doing a lot of looking around at colleges. They checked a lot of 'em out online and through visits to their high school and pretty much had their minds made up before the actual visiting ever happened. Of course, that didn't prove to be such a great plan for Kacey since she switched schools after the first year. Oh well. At least she's in school SOMEWHERE and pretty happy with things now.
I'm sure Wolfgang is gonna like college. Of course, it's nothing like how they show in t.v. and it's not all about drink and partying either xD.
Oh gads, let us know how your trip down memory lane went at CU. What did Wolfgang think of it?
I'm sure he will be impressed with your Alma Mater, especially with the first two pictures they should really sell it Ha Ha
Seriously I hope your visit back is a good one, and yes time flies and the kids grow quicker than we realize.
I am still interested in that you and Magnum were Buffs. I am sure he will be duly impressed by seeing where his parents attended college.
