This week's prompt is "diary". Now, I've never kept a written diary, but I remember the intrigue of them when I was younger - in the days before the internet. I think I had a couple of friends who kept diaries with connotations of deep secret secrets!
I never really had the initiative to keep one though. I was more on the extroverted side, and when I did partake of the necessary "quiet time", I was usually drawing or painting or just lazing about in general.
I discovered blogging a few years ago, however, and I've been oversharing on the internet ever since.

This is a wonderfully evocative illustration! Great composition and textrues in the book and hair. The face part color seems a little too flat in comparison to the rest, but I really love the "secretiveness" this picture evokes.
Nice moody and secretive image!
Great work Abby. full color, no tones are very good in digital illustration.
This is such a great illustration.
Nice - she's definitely got a secret!
Great illustration.
I'm of the same mind - never had much use for diaries in my younger days. I find it funny that diaries used to be secret/private notes to our selves but now we are willing to share our thoughts with the world via the internet.
:) love her eye! and the textures!
If by oversharing, you mean people youve never met could write a fairly lengthy and detailed autobiography. Well, so be it. Mostly you make me laught though.
I love the colors of this and the way you are drawn into the picture. It's like you want to look over the top of the diary and take a peek too.
also I meant biography. I am sure I could write a fairly lengthy and accurate autobiography with our without your alleged oversharing, but nevermind that.
It's weird how clueless I was reading back on old diaries.
It makes me wonder if later on down the line, I'll look back at my online journals and think the same thing. :P
Lovely illustration.
Beatifull...
Best wishes from Buenos Aires...
