mail

Happy Illustration Friday on a Saturday! This week's prompt is "mail".

It's that time of year when many of us are relying heavily on the mail. I just got a message today that the last of my gifts from amazondotcom have officially shipped. They've got a week to get here. Preferrably sooner.

But I went with the message-in-a-bottle theme, because it seemed like more fun than mail order stuff. It's kind of like blogging. Just throw something out there and see what happens.

Besides, after the Christmas mail arrives, the bills are sure to follow.

One of my gifts is on back order :-(

Hope yours arrive in time for the big day! Pretty sure they will unless Amazon has taken to shipping their stuff in bottles across bodies of water.

I love this! It would be heavenly to be as carefree as a message in a bottle this week! Merry Christmas to you! :o)

And the kids huddled around the PC with care, in hopes that FedEx/UPS would soon get there...

I am still way behind on my gifts, but I am finally making headway (albeit very slowly).

The woods are lovely, dark & deep and I have gifts to buy and miles to go before I sleep.

I grew up on the coast and when I was young I always wanted to throw a message in a bottle off the end of the pier. Never could figure out what to write in it though.

I'd still love to find one though!
