Happy Illustration Friday on Saturday once again! This week's prompt is "reverse", so naturally I drew some emos.
In case you're wondering what emos have to do with "reverse", I ask you to read it again.
Some Emos.
Now read it in reverse. YES, it's a palindrome. Oh, too fun.
As always, your amusing comments are this drawer's reward.
Didya see it?? "drawer's reward"?!?
(okay, I'll shut up now...)
.
Palindromes are fun--I'd forgotten that term until just reading this post!
ReplyDeleteThe only one I can think of, at the moment, is expressed in this very old, very politically-incorrect joke (and if it offends anyone, keep in mind that I'm mentally ill, and that you can call me "crazy" if you want):
What do you get when you cross an insomniac, an agnostic, and a dyslexic?
Someone who sits up all night, wondering if there is a Dog!
that is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI *heart* palindromic
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha! Just read Scott's joke! Definitely not offended.
ReplyDeleteWonderful art work and post! Lol!
ReplyDeleteA man. A plan. A canal. Panama.
ReplyDeleteWow.
rats live on no evil star.
ReplyDeletei like your drawring.
I think you are the first Illustration Friday 'Reverse' who talks about palindromes.
ReplyDeleteIndeed...very clever idea.
Paula
I like the way your brain works! Very clever indeed! :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent!!!!
ReplyDeletei went with a palindrome, too! i wonder how many others thought "palindrome" from the word "reverse." of course, my name is a palindrome so i didn't have to search my mind too far to come up with an idea this week...
ReplyDeletei love your figures, mainly their expressions and body language. really great job.
Creative.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say something like witty like your palindrome has it all backwards, but that would be lame...
Great sketches, very "emo." Let's hear it for palindromes! (I did one, too, just a little late to IF tonight and a slow reply to your comment on my blog earlier this week)!
ReplyDeleteI wish you well, regarding concerns about your mother's health. Many more silver linings will come your way! :o)
Hey Abby! Great illustration and so revelc!.... er I mean clever ;o)
ReplyDeleteOh my my That is just so amazing! Keep it up! I loved it!
ReplyDeleteHeisann!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, they just like my male students!
Happy Valentine from me ;:OD)
I love palindromes!
ReplyDeleteThen again, I would, seeing as I am one and all!
(I went through a phase where I tried to convince one of my friends to change his surname to 'Racecaranna' so I could marry him, take his name and be a perfect palindrome)
