Actually, I used to bug my parents for it when I was young and mom relented and gave me some with "a little milk". Actually, I think it was 90% milk and 10 % coffee with sugar thrown in for good measure. Eventually I worked my way up to full strength version but I never gave up on the creamer/milk until when I went did my walkabout in college and was camping near Santa Fe. Ran out of creamer and had to take it black. After that, there was no going back.

I've drank coffee from all over the globe. My favorite was in Germany - very strong, robust. And that does NOT include Army coffee. What they served there was sometimes criminal.

I used to drink it all day and I would have to admit I was slightly hooked. The only times I realized how much I needed coffee was when I went to Philmont and did cold turkey for 12 days. Literally I was NOT a happy camper. After my surgery a few years back, I weaned myself down to two cups in the morning. More of a habit than a fix, still, the occasional mornings I miss my cup o' joe, things do tend to move slowly. agg79https://www.blogger.com/profile/08925069219602681862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168047058963833173.post-32007155755366720172014-10-05T14:04:21.042-06:002014-10-05T14:04:21.042-06:00College without coffee?!? I think it was a requirement, but I took a beating over it. 1/3 cup was sugar. 1/3 was Creamora, and only 1/3 was coffee. THAT STUFF IS BITTER!!! As for tea, I hate it, and especially when it's hot.
