He was a jock type, played second string pro football (seriously). He enjoyed teaching during the off season. He was close friends with one of the teachers at the school.

He asked one of the students out on a date our senior year. Okay, she was 17 but still, it was weird. She, I guess, said no, but then the teacher that was friends with him convinced her to go out with him.

A year later they were married!

Every once in a while I think about it and it still creeps me out. I guess it turned out fine for her, but I dunno, there is something very skeevey about two teachers doing that.Whimsical Ranterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00559655402387253993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3168047058963833173.post-34426385410930856442009-04-16T05:59:00.000-06:002009-04-16T05:59:00.000-06:00Eeew... well that's officially weird. Every time I hear the Police sing "Don't Stand So Close to Me" I think of the movie "Teachers." Do you remember that? Helen Hunt played a high school girl who got in trouble with the gym teacher. So sad that in the years following that movie, the scenario became all too real for so many kids.terrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12510457113017189354noreply@blogger.com
