rhymes with fat

A pet update of sorts.

But not really because Kat still has no (real) name and still has the belly.

"Does the bow in this shelf make me look fat?"

She seems happy and healthy enough.  The guys like her chubbiness, and I admit that I find it cute too.  I have seen much fatter cats, but still.  I don't want her to have a stroke.  What can she say?  She likes her food.  She likes her memory foam.

Today is a day off for me.  Well... from the PAID employment anyways.  I look forward to such days - all the things I'll get done.  While I have gotten several things done so far, I'm basking a bit in laziness too.

We all have our guilty pleasures don't we?  Five of mine, in no particular order (other than the nice symmetry)
  • napping
  • fig newtons
  • people watching
  • chick flicks
  • blogging
I'm glad to say that I can check all of these off of my list of things to do today.  Although nodding off while doing paperwork might not count as napping, and Twilight bloopers may not count as a chick flick.

My husband and oldest daughter wince every time I drop Layla the dog a piece of jerky or some other dog food that is not part of her daily mush. They think she's a little fat, too. I don't think so; she's just "healthy."

I suggest that they take over her care if they are overly concerned. :)

I'm waiting for a "guilty pleasures" WHOLE day. Good for you in getting yours!

A guilty pleasures whole day? This was more of a guilty pleasures coupla hours. But I'll take it.
Kat has yet to receive any food contraband since we've had her, that I know of. She's got a pretty good "fat baby" from her feed-me-I'm-homeless days

Don't tell Kat, but that bow DOES kinda make her look fat.
I am all about enjoying a few guilty pleasures on a day off of paid work. So much so that my unpaid work rarely gets done. Someday I'll have the time to clean bathrooms, wash clothes, do dishes, feed the family...
until then, my days off are for ME. (It helps to have a hubby who works from home so can occasionally do a few dishes and wash a few clothes.) ;)
Your guilty pleasure don't match up with mine at all. Although I enjoy a good fig newton and people watching in the airport...

I always have all these good intentions about all the stuff I'm going to do and then end up napping at the computer.

I know how you feel. Claire is my sweetheart dog and, I am sorry to admit, she is a bit on the healthy side. I swear I feed both of these mutts the exact same food, same amount, but poor Claire just seems to hold onto it a bit better than Grayson. People love her when they meet her but it really irritates me when I hear comments like "she hasn't missed too many meals" or "she's a big girl". I try to keep her on a strict diet, but when you look at that sugar face, how can deny her a bite?

Glad to hear that cat is helping you enjoy some guilty pleasures.
