journey

My oh my, I've been a neglectful blogger... Good thing there's Illustration Friday on Saturday!

This week's prompt is "journey", so I drew this bus - I just think they're the cutest! I know I'm a die hard bicycle commuter (within reason), but I've always kinda wanted one of these.

Anyways, it's nice to be drawing and blogging again. Work's been keeping me busy, volunteering busier still. But it's all good. I'll Keep on Runnin' and Won't Stop Believin'. I know my comfy blog will always welcome me with Open Arms for some good Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'...

Oh Sherry! Sorry, just couldn't help the Journey references! I'll stop now. Just remember, though, I'm Forever Yours, Faithfully...

Journey and a mini bus are not good references. Mini buses and the dead go together better, and
creepy middle aged guys that think pontiac firebirds are or ever were cool listen to journey

There was a band-geek in high school who owned a yellow VW bus. I was jealous.

Cool--your weaving of Journey song lyrics that way! But when I first saw the bus, The Who's, "The Magic Bus" started playing in my mind--and it still is!

I'm sure the interiors of those VW buses saw their fair share of lovin', touchin', squeezin'...

I used to want one of these too, but I think I'm over it. Now all I need to do is get all these songs out of my head!

PLAY JOURNEY!

My brother said that when he was on exchange in Canada, yelling this in bars was a guaranteed way to get into the good books of the people he was with. *shrug*
