fearless

Thanks goodness it's Illustration Friday, eh? This week's illustration prompt is "fearless", and naturally, my mind turned to my own fears.

This blog is no stranger to the fact that I am irrationally afraid of heights. Forget roller coasters, I don't even like friendly Ferris wheels! Heck, lifeguard chairs have been known to strike fear!

*sigh*

So, I drew a bungee jumper - the antithesis of me - just moments after "lift-off".

I wish I had the guts to do this.

Not really.

Oooo, love the perspective on this, great illo - I'm a fellow colored pencil afficianado too.

Great job! No way I could do this either...

Have a great weekend and Mother's Day!

This picture makes me ill--I can FEEL the vertigo of it. Fabulous perspective, and fabulous colors.

I got chills just looking at that picture. I don't "do" heights either and I wouldn't be caught dead bungee jumping.

Great pic- do you have any idea how hard it is to actually find a place that does bungee jumping, once you decide to do it? I haven't had any luck!

Beautiful, superb detail! I can so easily be that jumper, in my mind!
